Pond liner and Underlay

Pond liner with underlay offers more flexibility than a preformed pond and pond liner is also great for creating larger, garden wildlife ponds. Simply dig a hole then fit the fleece underlay sheets, then once that is in place, add the pond liner.  Various sizes are available. Sizes listed are the size of the liners when flat with no depth, so remember to factor this into your measurement. A 4 x 4m liner will not make a 4 x 4m pond, as material will be used for its depth, making the surface area smaller.  Eg. A 4 x 4 metre liner will create a 3 x 3 metre pond if the depth is 50cm, as this will be taken from all sides, if the pond was this deep. 

Pond liner - Liner Thickness: 0.35mm. Manufactured out of LDPE (Low-density polyethylene) sandwiched between two coatings of UV resistant laminate. Tear resistant - if the liner gets punctured the hole will not 'run'.

Fleece underlay - made from heavy, 200gsm needled felt, this helps protect the liner from sharp stones in the ground. The fleece rolls sent will have enough material to protect all of the pond liner.
