This mini wetland kit is for gardeners who would like to create a wildlife pond with shallow areas, pools and bog garden. The kit includes a small preformed pond, a medium preformed pond and 4m x 3m pond liner. The two ponds create two different sized pools, and the liner can be used to create a shallow area, or half can be used to create a shallow area and the other half can be used to create a bog garden for pond marginal plants, by digging a shallow hole, then laying the liner, then adding soil on top and plants. This will keep the soil waterlogged, perfect for aquatic plants. Add some rocks, gravel and logs, and you will have a small varied wetland in your garden that is great for wildlife, including frogs, toads, newts, dragonflies and other aquatic insects. Its a great addition to any garden, and looks great in an alpine rockery, or even somewhere within a small garden wildflower meadow.
